Hello Everyone!!!

Congratulations to our athletes for their win over the Raintree Rays! Many athletes moved out of their comfort zone to compete in events that they haven't swum before. Keep it up!  As a team we have talked about pathways to success. One of the biggest determinates of success is a willingness to fail. When your athlete doesn't achieve a goal, this is a great learning opportunity.  Ask your athlete, Is there anything you could do differently moving forward? Or- Did you do everything you could to succeed?  The reality is an athlete can do everything right to succeed but factors outside of their control impact the outcome. 

Up Next:

Waves v Lasers at Lakewood... Theme America...Please declare you athlete(s) availability no later than Monday at 12 pm. 

Utilize the comments section to communicate specific requests. For example, my athlete would like to swim an IM, fly, breast etc.

Championships:

The championship meet is the highlight of the season. All athletes who compete will get a championship shirt and have a great time. I hope your athlete(s) will join us! More information to come. Please declare your athlete(s) availability ASAP!

Next Week: 

We will have practice on Monday but no practice on Tuesday due to the holiday. If you are in town, please get your athlete(s) to practice if possible. When athletes miss practices they have to catch up. 

Clinic: Due to the holiday, coaches will be holding a clinic only on Thursday. Options are- butterfly and/or any turns. Sign up at the pool!
